Atlanta Center for puppetry Arts is the largest non-profit in the United States devoted to puppets. Inaugurated in September 1978 and was the first centre of puppets in the country. Over the years the Center has received numerous awards for excellence. Kernel programming focuses on performance, education, and its Museum.
Each year, the Centre presents two sets of programs. The family series has productions which are suitable for audiences of all ages. They are classic stories, as well as new works. The 2010 season will include Charlotte Web, beautiful productions and the beast and Rodolfo snout Reno.The new series of addresses presents performances that are targeted to adolescents and adultos.Entre next actions for this series are the dreadful Dreadfuls and Suspended Animation.
